Like a Girl

about

I wrote this a song a few years ago about the dysphoria I was feeling and how people would comment on how i looked, sang and walked like a girl but it didn't feel like they were saying that as a compliment. I'm still weary of being myself to the fullest, but I'm taking small steps to come out of my shell.
There's a lot of scary bills being passed that will aim to harm trans youth, but thankfully there are some resources to help aid them in these fucked up times. Any money that I receive for this song will go to the Transgender Education Network of Texas or TENT.

lyrics

Do I sound like a girl?
Do I look like a girl?
Am I too much of a girl?
just not the kind that you like

Do I talk like a girl?
Do I sing like a girl?
Do I walk like a girl?
just not the kind that you like

I don't dress like a girl
I don't act like a girl
I don't sit like a girl
just not the kind that you like

Do I sound like a girl?
Do I look like a girl?
Am I too much of a girl?
just not the kind that you like
